Snorri, the prankster octopus, is as proud as on the first day! He is happy to celebrate with all his friends the 1st anniversary of his incredible aquatic universe Rulantica – Minecraft!
Let’s take a look back at this crazy adventure full of aquatic fun and unique new features!
On 28th November 2020, the brand new water park opened its doors for the first time with great fanfare in Minecraft! The intention was clear: this was not just a grand opening, but a milestone in the evolution of EPM and by far the biggest project in the server’s history. In the huge, newly built hall, players were able to discover and enjoy nine Nordic themed areas from day one. Rulantica – Minecraft is no match for its big brother Europa Park – Minecraft in terms of adrenaline and diversity. The water park already had 25 attractions including 17 slides when it opened.
Only a year old, it is already planning to expand: from 2022 onwards, the outdoor area will be extended by 2 large areas designed with its care to please all lovers of aquatic fun. The “Svalgurok” water playground will be the place to be for all summer slide fans! This gigantic slide tower will offer more than 100 water play possibilities, including 10 slides such as the funnel slide and the double parallel slide. You can be sure that you won’t be dry for long: a huge swinging water bucket will surprise all visitors with a refreshing drink!
In the immediate vicinity of Svalgurok, Snorri Strand invites all bathers to have fun on a soft floor with two small slides and many small water jets.
JDcraft68, general manager of the water park, says that the entire Rulantica – Minecraft team listened carefully to the feedback from visitors, especially regarding their requests for VIP status. In addition to the many sun loungers, they also have their own sofas, which can be booked as an option and on which it is possible to lounge in comfort.
The future exclusive Hyggedal sauna and relaxation area is a must in terms of relaxation. A Nordic wellness oasis with a dreamlike view of the entire water world awaits VIPs on an area of 1,000 m². Two saunas, an outdoor terrace and a wide range of catering options will satisfy the desires of VIPs seeking relaxation. Other relaxation options are also available, such as the Sofas Hygge and Hydda Hygge Supreme.
The Rulantica – Minecraft team is composed of about twenty enthusiasts, each one more motivated than the other! Everyone contributes to the success of the server:
We are incredibly proud that we were able to reproduce the Rulantica water world in Minecraft as closely as possible and that we are still the only server to offer it to this day. We are convinced that the new outdoor areas will satisfy the biggest fans and we hope that they will attract many new international visitors.
The history of Rulantica – Minecraft was marked by several weeks of closure due to the fire of our provider OVHcloud. All the teams were able to cope with it brilliantly!
Today, staff and players alike agree that Rulantica is a unique server in Minecraft.
